About Biomesight test
"The Biomesight microbiome test provides a snapshot of the gut microbiome utilizing 16S rRNA sequencing technology. You will receive a count and relative abundance percentage of the bacteria in your microbiome, ranging from Phylum down to the species level. 16s DNA sequencing allows us to sequence a specific region (v4) of the 16s gene, and to match these sequences to our curated bacterial database. Can I use a different test?
The gut balancing model developed by Alex Zaharakis utilizes 16s sequencing data, this is the test he has found success with for hundreds of families with autistic children. Biomesight is the platform that I have practitioner access to download your data. When you register your kit, you will grant me practitioner access.
Does Biomesight provide gut balancing recommendations?
Biomesight provides its own AI-generated recommendations but the data interpretation, ideal ranges, and supplements do not use the same model developed by Alex specifically for children with autism. They are not manually approved and do not take into consideration individual needs, dosing, or autism support modes.
